This group class is held on Tuesdays from 3.45pm - 4.30pm at Mosman Art Gallery for children aged 5-8 years old. Zenthai shiatsu is a blend of deeply effective Japanese healing therapy with the fluidity... Zenthai shiatsu is a blend of deeply effective Japanese healing therapy with the fluidity of Thai massage. This diagnostic system utilises the same meridian and acupressure point system as acupuncture. Shiatsu translates as ‘finger pressure’, although Bec will use her thumbs, fingers, palms, elbows, knees and feet to apply her own body weight to stimulate the flow of energy in your body. A combination of acupressure massage, Thai flowing massage techniques, wholefood dietary advice, Ki yoga correctives and moxabustion are utilised in the treatment and diagnosis. You will lie on a futon mattress fully clothed during the treatment. In Zenthai Shiatsu, the whole being is treated - not just the presenting symptom.
