Experience a beautiful combination of Tracy's passion for Native Bushfoods with her knowledge gained during her Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics Degree. These powerful and moving workshops integrate a wide range of workshops to support participants in: - Deepening understanding of history, food and land - Appreciating and celebrating the diversity of traditional foods and First Nations Peoples foodways across Australia - Learn and reflect on (de) colonisation; First Nations Peoples perspectives, cultures and foodways - Exploring the past, present and future relationship between food and healing - Acknowledging and respecting the traditional knowledges, lands and waters from which native ingredients comes - Gathering, Cooking and Eating with deep listening - Fusing traditional and modern-day ingredients Tracy understands the harm caused by not having access to health care and nutrition which is a human right of all people. She wants to contribute to the change she wants to see, bringing her strong sense of social justice and equity as well as her cultural lens and offer a holistic perspective to nutrition, health and wellbeing that benefits all. In her group sessions and workshops, Tracy holds the space for participants to share and learn from each other, re-discover their strengths and resilience and work together as communities of care and communities of practice towards collective healing. Available throughout Australia, Tracy loves working with and for people, listening to their stories and supporting self-determining health and wellbeing. Looking through a strengths-based and holistic cultural lens, Tracy focuses on sustainable and healing connections, conversations and actions. Wayapa® is a holistic wellness and healing movement based on ancient Indigenous wisdoms. When we speak about Wayapa®, it draws upon how we can grow a collective consciousness and connection to our Earth, which is where our biodiversity, ecosystems and food systems exist. As a society, many of us are disconnected from our food and where it comes from and as a result the wellbeing of our minds, body, Spirit and Country are being impacted. The practice of Wayapa® combines ancient earth mindfulness, narrative meditation and storytelling through a physical movement practice in a series of 14 elements to teach participants the importance of connecting into the earth and nature for holistic wellness.
