Tai Chi and Qigong Group Class - Callala Beach Community Centre

Joanne’s purpose is to empower you to live a vibrant, healthful life through the practices of Tai Chi and Qigong.
Suitable for all ages, these practices are safe, gentle and effective mind-body exercises which cultivate our innate life-force energy (chi/qi) within us to flow smoothly and powerfully through the body and through life.
Learned in a fun, nurturing group atmosphere which creates community, friendships and a lovely cuppa after class, Tai Chi and Qigong can be practiced seated or standing.
Benefits include improved posture, balance for falls prevention, muscle strength, flexibility, coordination, confidence, daily functional activities, awareness, relaxation, presence, positive emotional responses, connection and overall health and wellbeing.
Tai Chi and Qigong connect us to the earth and nature, bring people together and foster a more loving way to be in a relationship to self and other (yin yang) in the world.
