Qigong (pronounced Chi-Kung) is the ancient Chinese art of longevity.
Developed over seven thousand years ago, “Qi” (Chi) is the vital energy which flows through the network of meridians in the body and connects with the energy of the universe. “Gong” is a term which translates to work, mastery and training.
Quite literally, Qigong is a way of mastering the energy of life. If the flow of Qi is blocked, it causes illness, disease and shortness of life. The practice of Qigong helps stimulate and strengthen this powerful energy.
Jemma uses a combination of mind-body exercises including visualisation, breathing techniques and principles of meditation and Tai Chi.
With regular practice, Qigong can help release stress, increase health and vitality, and develop spiritual perception, serenity and awareness.
