In person
40 minutes south of Byron Bay, between the fishing town of Ballina and the seaside village of Lennox Head, is an incredible 13 kilometre guided walk that will take you across rivers, wetlands, secluded beaches and centuries old coastal dune vegetation.
Traverse spectacular headlands that will take your breath away. Soaring 60 metres above the waves it’s the perfect place to sit, find solitude and watch the whales pass by.
On this walk, Kris will share with you the stories, customs and history of his people in the local area. You will enjoy foraging for native foods as his ancestors did and as he still does today, before enjoying morning tea made from locally sourced bush tucker ingredients in a spectacular setting high above the waves.
Finish your hike at the seaside village of Lennox Head where you will find a wonderful selection of cafes, bars and retail outlets to explore.
Departs Saturday and Sunday from Byron Bay at approx 6.30 am (summer) and 7.30 am (winter).
