Inspired by Stephanie’s 15 years of Ashtanga practice, this traditional Vinyasa class is a series of postures which link movement and breath in a flowing manner, holding each posture for several breaths.
A deeply purifying and transformative practice that uses the "victorious breath" technique (Ujaii), to help keep the student in a state of gently focused awareness, so it becomes like a moving meditation.
Fabulous for building strength and flexibility in the body, as well as clearing the mind and releasing tension, stress and strain.
Expect to be guided through your postures, sun salutations, standing and seated postures and finally inversions (depending on the group).
As it is a dynamic practice it is not suitable for the elderly or those brand new to yoga, or those with injuries (unless one on one). Otherwise, all levels can be accommodated.
