This class if perfect for you if you:
- experience depression, anxiety or post-traumatic stress
- have difficulty staying in the present moment
- experience excessive fear, worrying or obsessive thoughts
- have a busy mind or find it difficult to switch off
- feel disconnected from your physical body
- experience physical tension or tightness in your body
- have trouble sleeping
- have trouble concentrating
- are seeking to practice in a small, supportive, friendly group from the privacy of your own home.
The package includes one private session where we can identify your particular needs and yoga goals, discuss any concerns and give you a 'taste' of what is to come, followed by six group sessions where you will learn how to use your breath and movement to reduce your stress response, balance your nervous system, improve focus and concentration and ultimately gain control of your mind.
Individual sessions will be held at a mutually convenient time prior to the starting date, group sessions will run each week Fridays 6 - 7pm for 6 weeks.
