Follow-up acupuncture appointments are suitable if you've had an initial consultation appointment with Coreena within the last 12 months. Acupuncture stimulates muscle relaxation and changes in organs, including functional connectivity in the brain. It decreases illness while improving the regulation of hormones, rest, relaxation, digestion and tissue healing. Coreena will tailor an acupuncture session to your specific needs. Additional techniques such as acupressure and/or cupping may also be incorporated into the session. Generally three to four treatments are recommended for acute conditions, and four treatments a year for ongoing maintenance (depending on condition).
