Trish is a registered psychotherapist with a passion and forte for relationship counselling. She is a level 2 trained Gottman Therapist whilst also able to incorporate Level 1 of Emotion Focused Therapy. The two go hand it hand to create a practical and in depth approach for couples issues. Trish loves supporting individuals, couples and families to explore their triggers and work through trauma and other issues in past relationships to help deepen their insights. She is a level 2 trained Gottman Therapist whilst also able to incorporate Level 1 of Emotion Focused Therapy. The two go hand it hand to create a practical and in depth approach for couples issues. Trish loves supporting individuals, couples and families to explore their triggers and work through trauma and other issues in past relationships to help deepen their insights. She provides practical tools and techniques to help people organically find solutions for any current challenges in communication, projecting, parenting and ‘the dance of intimacy’. Listening, being curious, asking questions and providing practical solutions for people has always come naturally to her. Trish completed the three year course to become a soul-centred psychotherapist in 2003 through The Kairos Centre and has worked in social and community health since this time. With a professional background in addiction and a Diploma of Alcohol and Other Drugs, Trish also has extensive experience in assisting people (and their partners, family members and other support people) who are experiencing drug, alcohol, gambling and other addictions. Trish provides one-on-one, couples and family relationship counselling to help singles and couples create happy, healthy and thriving relationships.
