As a therapist, I take a relational approach that centers on building trust, connection, and a safe therapeutic space. I’m particularly mindful of power dynamics and the importance of intersectionality, ensuring my practice remains accessible, inclusive, and supportive for individuals from all backgrounds. I believe that the quality and authenticity of the therapeutic relationship are essential in fostering growth, healing, and change. My approach recognizes that therapy often operates on two interconnected levels. In our sessions, we may focus on the present developing more effective ways of coping with difficult emotions and navigating life’s challenges. Or through a psychodynamic approach we may work to uncover the deeper roots of certain patterns or responses to start to create more freedom, choice, and joy in your life. I am currently completing my MA in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at Goldsmiths, University of London, and have trained at the Metanoia Institute. I am a trainee member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and adhere to their code of ethics, providing a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. In my training, I have also gained hands-on clinical experience working alongside psychiatrists and psychologists at Guy’s Hospital, which has enriched my understanding of mental health from a holistic perspective. Prior to my psychotherapy training, I completed a BA in Philosophy, Psychology, and Neuroscience at King’s College London, grounding me in the biological, psychological, and social foundations of mental health.
