He has been practising physiotherapy for over 25 years and started his own practice in North Sydney out of his passion for health and wellbeing. Theo and his team take a holistic approach to physiotherapy, integrating therapies like visceral manipulation, craniosacral therapy, remedial massage and acupuncture. Theo completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Physiotherapy) at the University of Sydney in 1993. Following an interest in the evolving manual medicine of visceral manipulation, Theo became qualified with the Barral Institute Australia in 2017 and now incorporates this modality into his work. Some of Theo’s career highlights include touring as a physiotherapist for the Australian National Track and Field Team and the Australian National Junior Commonwealth Games Team and working as a physiotherapist at the World Junior Athletics Championships and The World Junior Wrestling Championships. In his junior years, he was an Australian representative in high jump and stayed heavily involved in competitive sports throughout his career as a consultant physiotherapist to international athletes. With a love of melding art and science, Theo loves the human interaction and problem-solving of his work, helping everyone from elite athletes to corporate executives to elderly clients. Theo has an interest in complex and chronic conditions too. Committed to sharing his knowledge and passion for wellness, Theo has trained many physiotherapists. He is also an ergonomist and innovated a product called Summit Support to assist in retinal surgery recovery, which is an Australian-first in its category. COVID-19 restrictions forced improvisation for his practice, but after receiving positive feedback and outcomes for his clients, Theo now continues to provide online consultations and ergonomic assessments via Zoom in addition to his traditional in person offerings. Theo looks forward to offering you the best in holistic health care so that you can live your life with health and vitality. Read more
