Bec has been a Zenthai Shiatsu therapist and a yoga teacher for more than 15 years, and continues to think that it is the best “job” in the world! Bec is passionate about helping people find joy, direction and balance in their life. She loves working with her clients and using her knowledge and expertise to keep them strong and healthy, build their confidence and bring together community, connection and support. Community is what Bec is all about. As a Zenthai shiatsu therapist, Bec has always been a strong advocate of this therapy due to its effectiveness in reducing stress and anxiety, back pain, fatigue and many other conditions. Bec is inspired and passionate about the Zenthai shiatsu tradition brought to the world by Gwyn Williams as a profound healing art. Always into sport and fitness, Bec tried yoga for the first time when she was 18. The therapy of Ki yoga has been fundamental for Bec in maintaining her own good health and keeping her centred, sane and strong. In 2004, she completed her Diploma of Ki Yoga and continued on to complete a Certificate for Children's Yoga Therapy, Foundation and Advanced courses between [***]. She loves being able to teach and share these amazing benefits with her students. Bec is incredibly proud to be teaching children’s yoga for Zenergy Yoga at Mosman Art Gallery. Bec also works from a studio in Freshwater (Northern Sydney) where she specialises in seasonal Japanese Ki yoga and Zenthai shiatsu, detox/intensive weeks, weekend retreats and workshops. Bec also co-facilitates the Zenthai Level 1 course and supports Cate Peterson in her grand vision to promote yoga practice across Australia via YogaHive and LovEarth yoga mats.
