Blending these two beautiful modalities, Sharni works with a broad range of clients aged 18 and above. Many of Sharni’s clients are seeking support for trauma, mental health conditions or mixed abilities, but ultimately all are looking for a safe space to find new ways to overcome the challenges and confrontations of life. Part of these reframes include overcoming addictions. Having a lifelong passion for performing arts, Sharni has a particular interest in working with artists, performers, musicians and dancers. Whether they are still performing or have since moved on to other endeavours, Sharni knows the challenges of shifting your stage presence and has a strong interest in helping navigate people out of addiction pathways. Sharni has performed at the Arts Centre Melbourne, National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) for corporate site specifics, Darwin Festival and collaborated on a series of artist retreats throughout Victoria. She has also had film works that she has featured in that have screened nationally, throughout Europe and commissioned to Japan. With experience in knowing what it is like to work through involuntary body movements (research), Sharni has explored and embraced a range of modalities and now loves to share these with others. Sharni holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Choreography, has had somatic training with Stelarc and is a certified flower essences practitioner. Sharni is currently building an online performance platform incorporating a therapeutic aspect, and welcomes a conversation with anyone who is interested in collaborating together. You are warmly welcomed to join Sharni to branch out of your comfort zone and embrace dance, movement and essences for therapeutic healing. A practice evolution.
