Carolyn is a Level 4 Reiki Master teacher/ practitioner, energetic healer and meditation facilitator who has been practising in reiki and energy work for more than two decades. Carolyn works with clients by channeling the energy of reiki into their energy system, which in turn facilitates healing within the client. This healing may occur on any one of the levels of their being, be it the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Often, great revelations occur making room for further healing. Her sessions help to release emotions, cope with grief, manage stress, clarify thoughts, create space for spiritual awakenings and relieve pain on many levels. As a teenager, Carolyn spent a month living on Mount Kurama in Kyoto, Japan - the birthplace of reiki. It is on this mountain that the founder of reiki, Mikao Usui, received the first divine attunement and the symbols used in the practice of reiki worldwide today. Her mother was also a healer who guided and mentored Carolyn in meditation and the healing arts from a young age, and it is from her that she received her first attunements to reiki Levels 1 and 2 in the Usui system of natural healing at the age of 25. Carolyn went back to study reiki in her early 40s to become a teacher of the energy she has loved and worked with her entire life. Carolyn has meditated since she was a young child and throughout her life has had many profound experiences with healing, energy and spirit. She says the rewards of both practising and teaching Reiki are endless. With regular practice, she says, you learn to reach a space where you lose all sense of yourself, you connect with the unified field and in doing so find true peace, complete connection to all that is and an all-encompassing love. It is within this space that true and profound healing occurs. From there, you begin to notice the outside of your life starts changing too – the people you bring into your life, the people who leave your life, your thought processes and how you respond to people and they to you.
