Sinden is a strong and uplifting Japanese yoga teacher. He revolves his life and teaching perspective with the idea that “health is the most valuable thing that we own” and “we are all in charge of our own wellbeing”. Sinden fosters a sense of community in his classes and loves working with individuals to explore themselves energetically. He knows that everyone learns yoga differently - some through their mind, some through their body, and some through their breath. Passionate about health, Sinden has a strong desire to help others to find their own path. Many of his students come to him after doing zero exercise for years, knowing that something needs to change but they simply don’t know where to start. Sinden is committed to working with people wherever they are in life and supporting them to keep growing, learning and evolving. Born in the UK and raised in Australia, Sinden originally worked as a hairdresser and makeup artist to the rich and famous, travelling all over the world. His career led him to Japan where he first discovered the amazing art of Japanese yoga. After suffering some personal health issues, he fell into a deep depression. Sinden decided to have a complete lifestyle change, relocating to Sydney to learn more about the magic of this modality. Not only did Japanese yoga eliminate his depression, but it also completely changed his wellbeing and way of thinking for life. Sinden has now completed over 900 hours of yoga teacher and Shiatsu training and has been teaching Japanese yoga since 2013. Over the last decade, he has continued to explore, learn and directly experience the vast health benefits of this ancient healing practice. Sinden is currently transforming his property into a healing centre and looks forward to incorporating more Indigenous culture and wisdom into his offerings. Sinden believes “We don’t do yoga to get better at yoga. We do yoga to get better at life”. He looks forward to gifting you a new reference point of amazing health for your future. Read more
