For more than 20 years Bron has been sharing proven and effective strategies for increasing resilience, promoting growth, improving well-being, and discovering inner happiness with audiences around the world. Her flexible and adaptive presentation style has seen her welcomed into the board rooms of multi-national companies and the meeting rooms of tiny community groups, and from some of the world’s biggest cities to some of its most remote communities. With an employment history that’s included senior administrative roles in the health, community and event management sectors and a passion for meditation that saw her complete her first meditation teachers training in 1978, Bron's life took an unexpected turn in 1989 when her father suddenly passed away and she became the primary and full-time carer for her mother. It was during her 13 year carer's journey that she discovered the power of laughter as a tool for coping, building resilience, supporting psychological growth and improving well-being. Since her mother's passing in 2003, she's been driven by a passion for investigating the science behind the laughter. Her curiosity has seen her complete a bachelor of psychological sciences and a 3-year post-graduate study in humour as a therapeutic modality, studying under, being mentored by and working with leading researchers in the field of laughter. This study has seen her become Australia’s first and only Certified Humour Professional. She also trained as a laughter yoga leader and teacher under the personal guidance of Madan Kataria, founder of the International Laughter Yoga movement, and has continued to renew her meditation and mindfulness training qualifications. An interest in Gross National Happiness saw her study at the GNH Centre In Bhutan in 2015 and 2016. She also runs the popular and award-winning Mitcham Community Laughter Group, now in its 17th year, and is a contributing author to a number of publications. Bron combines positive, behavioural and organisational psychology, laughter yoga, meditation and mindfulness in presentations and workshops that are fun-filled and informative and, as the feedback attests, inspire her audiences to make laughter, meditation, and mindfulness a part of their every-day. Bron is based in Melbourne and works around Australia and internationally. Read more
