Jancine is end of life doula who supports families and local community in improving death literacy, grief and bereavement processes. She supports those nearing the end of life to navigate their preferred death and dying experience by exploring their personal values and what matters most to them. Her scope of practice includes making preparations with documentation with people who are living well; supporting people who are ageing or have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness; navigating... Jancine is end of life doula who supports families and local community in improving death literacy, grief and bereavement processes. She supports those nearing the end of life to navigate their preferred death and dying experience by exploring their personal values and what matters most to them. Her scope of practice includes making preparations with documentation with people who are living well; supporting people who are ageing or have been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness; navigating the often overwhelming medical model; providing options and choices for active and palliative care; supporting people and families who are processing anticipatory grief; coordinating support for people who choose to die at home, along with helping family and friends through this process; and supporting families with after-death care and family-led funerals. With a background spanning 30 years in childcare, aged care and end of life care, Jancine understands that it takes great courage to lean into life limiting, terminal and ageing illnesses. Jancine will connect you with “what matters most” when facing complex life choices.
