Jody is a yoga teacher, Ayurvedic wellness coach and counsellor who works holistically from a physical, emotional and spiritual point of view in an effort to guide her clients to wellness. Working through the seasons, and taking an individual approach to every client, Jody provides nutritional advice and works on sustainable ways to bring them back into balance. She will assess lifestyle choices, diet and emotional triggers and work with her clients to create mindful awareness of the factors... Working through the seasons, and taking an individual approach to every client, Jody provides nutritional advice and works on sustainable ways to bring them back into balance. She will assess lifestyle choices, diet and emotional triggers and work with her clients to create mindful awareness of the factors that may cause imbalance. Jody has decades of experience in nutrition and is well aware that food is not the sole cause of people’s health issues. Her clients often experience anxiety and digestive issues and by creating simple sustainable routines, like meditation or yoga, and appropriate food choices for their body type, they can make significant changes in time, Jody says. Her coaching often assists with sleep issues, fertility and menopausal issues. She believes by teaching people to live in alignment with the seasons they can bring their bodies back into balance. Jody loves to see people who have tried everything experience major changes in a short amount of time with simple solutions, as they get to know their bodies and themselves better. Jody has enjoyed an exceptional career in the food industry, working as a recipe writer, cookbook author and food stylist for 20 years and collaborating with many leading high profile chefs including Jamie Oliver, Bill Grainger and Donna Hay. Her strong interest in nutrition and health became a trademark of her work. In 2001 she developed recipes for the National Heart Foundation of Australia cookbook, which sold 25,000 copies within the first six months of its release. She worked as a food consultant to the New South Wales Institute of Sport, teaching elite athletes to cook healthy nutritious meals; and established the Health for Life series of cookbooks in 2003. Her latest cookbooks, Beautiful Food and The Yogic Kitchen, are focused on Ayurvedic principles. Jody offers regular yoga classes in Tilba, NSW and also runs 50 hour Yin yoga teacher trainings.
