Tony is a qualified remedial massage therapist with more than 20 years' experience. Tony opened his own holistic massage clinic in North Brisbane in 2007 where he leads a team of therapists. With over 20,000 treatments under his belt and clinical experience working alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists, Tony takes a lot of pride in supporting his local community. His clients range from children to seniors who come to see him for a broad range of reasons including fitness-related goals, stress management, correcting poor postural habits and reducing chronic pain. Tony has a particular interest in the integration of corrective remedial techniques into a balanced therapeutic massage, focusing on neck, shoulders and lower back/hip complaints. Throughout his Diploma of Health Science (Remedial Therapies), he learnt about clinical orthopaedic testing (like physiotherapists) as well as encompassing the ‘whole person’ in treatment attitudes. Tony has continued to incorporate this into his work and acknowledges the connection and interdependency of holistic care across the mind, body and spirit. In addition to his qualifications in health science and massage, Tony is also trained in aromatherapy, cupping, and myofascial release therapy. Tony is an Advanced Member of Massage and Myotherapy Australia. In 2017, he became part of their Certification Program where his ability, processes and clinic were assessed by their Independent Standards Council. In 2020, he was approved and awarded the title of ‘Certified Remedial Specialist’. Passionate about helping to develop the next generation of massage therapists, Tony has been a remedial massage trainer and assessor with three RTOs over the past eight years and has recently accepted another teaching role as part of the Massage School at Demi International Academy. Tony was also selected as a sports massage volunteer for the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and the 2019 INAS Global Games in Brisbane. Based in Stafford in North Brisbane, Tony offers his services in person. He looks forward to helping you achieve your goals, feel relaxed and comfortable, and live your life to the fullest. Read more
