Geash is an artist, dancer and movement therapist, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) and sexological bodyworker who works with people to resolve trauma, liberate their creative life force and bring deeper awareness and comfort to their bodies. A lover of dance her entire life and teacher of dance and yoga for more than 20 years, Geash has been teaching the 5Rhythms® since 2007. This method is a moving meditation where movement becomes medicine, freeing trapped vitality, regulating stress and improving self- confidence. Through inquiry and movement, Geash guides people to inhabit their bodies, exploring body mapping, centering and nervous system education. A key teaching with the 5Rhythms is that when the psyche is put in motion through moving the body, it will heal itself. Geash’s SEP work addresses a wide range of issues, including shock, anxiety, PTSD, addiction recovery, body image and grief. Through her extensive embodiment training and own life experiences Geash feels personally and professionally qualified to help others with their challenges. Offering an authentic, inclusive and real experience, Geash invites a deep exploration into embodied presence, which invites a restoration of the whole body system back towards a relaxed wholeness. She loves the creative and curious process of movement and feels blessed to be able to work with people as they have transformational experiences through the movement as well as the somatic work. Geash also offers her services for drug and alcohol rehabilitation in her local community in far northern NSW. The constant journey of freedom - in our bodies, hearts and lives - fascinates Geash and she looks forward to taking you on that journey. Read more
