She is committed to empowering deep thinking helping professionals, creatives, and change agents to stand in their power with abandon. Elysa believes that too often the problems holding deep thinkers back are a lack of confidence, hesitancy to speak up, following archaic rules, and believing their worth has to do with their weight, beauty, wealth, wins, or workload. Through her coaching, she empowers clients to find their voice, reconnect with their bodies and tap into their capacities to make their impact in ways that matter to them. Elysa offers two unique programs of coaching based on her specialty certifications in BARE™ and from the Life Purpose Institute. Elysa’s Living BARE 1:1 Coaching focuses on internalizing these seven practices, so they become a regular part of your life. This personalized program is based on The BARE™ method, seven practices to transform your body and self-image, help you have more energy for what matters to you, and become the bravest, most unstoppable version of yourself. Elysa also loves working with clients who are in a rut with a lacklustre lifestyle or livelihood or who are questioning everything they thought they 'should' be doing. Her Authentic Livelihood Design 1:1 Coaching works to identify clients' gifts and talents, capture the essential elements of their lifestyle, livelihood and legacy and equip them to enact what they discover. Her coaching is always soulful and evidence-informed. Elysa draws on her intuition and undertakes ongoing research as part of her evolving coaching style. As a result of her coaching, Elysa sees her clients shifting careers and pursuing a path they always meant to, speaking up more, dressing with more confidence, being more compassionate to themselves, eating better, exercising out of self-love and curating their social media feed to uplift themselves. She loves people to “see and be their potential” and loves the moment when a client recognises they have been influenced by outdated conditioning and chooses to do otherwise - e.g., to choose their power over the patriarchy. Elysa has been an occupational therapist for more than 25 years, holds a Masters and PhD in the field and has been teaching in universities in the USA and Australia for 20+ years. She also teaches a Masterclass on the Philosophy of Life Coaching for the University for Life Coach Training, a program underpinned by diversity, equity and inclusion. This certification prepares life coaches to be more equitable and inclusive in their coaching. Elysa landed in life coaching as a result of her personal mission to 1) work beyond the 'boxes of bureaucracy she felt in healthcare and higher education and 2) free herself from diet culture, the patriarchy, imposter syndrome, people-pleasing, fear of trying, over-striving and postponing her passions. Her own investment in coaching helped her unlock her self-worth, make investments in herself and step out into business. Elysa is ready to work together with you to free you to be, do and have all you desire and deserve. Read more
