Over the past 40 years Conny has brought together all her skills and experience through individual sessions, group offerings, teaching and coaching in the field of personal development and meditation. She has also founded several meditation centres in Germany over a period of 15 years. Based in Sydney since 2001, Conny co-founded the Centre for Meditation and Personal Development in 2006 and presently is operating in Bondi Junction, Bondi Beach, Crows Nest and Castle Hill. Conny regularly coaches and teaches meditation to the staff of the Cancer Council, Cancer Institute Sydney, Mental Health Association and the Heart Foundation. She has also run corporate mindfulness sessions at large companies including Toyota, MTV, Pacific Magazines, Channel 9 and Ashurst Law Firm. She is the creator of the 12 session courses ‘The Happiness Project’ and ‘The Creativity Project - Discovering and Recovering Your Creativity’ and runs workshops and masterclasses on emotional intelligence, mindfulness, how to change habits and self-compassion. Conny is an inspiring international speaker and has organised a range of events, congress, symposia and dialogues since 1984, including ‘New Consciousness For Our Future’. She is one of the pioneers of the Brahma Kumaris work in Germany and was the national coordinator until 1998. She was the founder and organiser of the Women’s Empowerment Group in Sydney which ran fortnightly from [***]. With a passion for dynamic cultural exchange, Conny is actively involved in the international visual art scene. Since 1989, she has been the curator and director of Conny Dietzschold Galleries in Sydney, Cologne and Hong Kong. She curates exhibitions for art institutions such as ACMI, Penrith Regional Gallery and Port Macquarie Regional Gallery. She also writes for art magazines, lectures at museums in Germany and Australia, and has worked as an academic lecturer on motivation and creative innovative thinking at the University of NSW and the ACP Australian Centre for Photography. After being diagnosed with ovarian cancer, Conny is passionate about her next project to set up a consulting service for complementary therapies for cancer patients. Her goal is to make available holistic offerings with psychological support specific to oncology and providing a range of consultants and support networks both in Australia and Germany. Conny is based in Castle Hill. Her latest venture is working with masters in Yin yoga and acupuncture combining the treatments with an Alchemy crystal bowls sound bath.
