Kim Davis is an experienced career coach and Dru yoga teacher who has been supporting people in their personal and professional development for more than 30 years. Kim completed her post-graduate studies in career development in 2011 at Swinburne University of Technology and also has qualifications in adult education, social ecology and mentoring. Kim Davis is an experienced career coach and Dru yoga teacher who has been supporting people in their personal and professional development for more than 30 years. Kim completed her post-graduate studies in career development in 2011 at Swinburne University of Technology and also has qualifications in adult education, social ecology and mentoring. She undertook four years of study in Dru yoga and self-development and completed her Dru Yoga Teacher's Diploma in 2005. As a career coach, Kim assists her clients to authentically communicate what they have to offer and to help them identify their dharma (purpose, gifts and strengths). Her clients come to see her during pivotal moments in their careers including redundancy, desire for a career change, or identifying their “encore careers” after retirement. Kim interweaves the ancient wisdom of Dru yoga into her offerings to provide comprehensive and practical tools and strategies that help her clients turn their goals into results and assist jobseekers through turbulent times of change. Originally working in welfare, youth services and adult education, Kim has always loved being able to help people identify their next pathway. She feels blessed to have been able to predominantly work with and support Indigenous Australians over the past 11 years while living in Darwin. Kim is a regular speaker at conferences, a published author, and was the Northern Territory’s Divisional President of the Career Development Association of Australia (CDAA) from 2013 to 2017. Kim has been based in Darwin for the past 10 years and is has recently relocated to Newcastle NSW and offers her services in-person or online.
