Sharon, affectionately known as the "Happy Witty Nurse," is a highly qualified Laughter Yoga Leader and Teacher based in Adelaide, Australia. Sharon is on a mission to spread more light, laughter, and connection throughout her community and beyond. With a wealth of experience, Sharon offers a range of laughter wellness programs, workshops, and training sessions all designed to uplift spirits and promote overall well-being. Sharon's laughter expertise extends to diverse settings, including aged care, disability care, the community, workplaces, and corporate environments. She is known for her willingness to travel throughout Adelaide and regional areas to share the joys of laughter and its remarkable health benefits. At the heart of Sharon's work is the belief that laughter yoga is the happiest physical and mental exercise program on the planet. This unique approach combines the principles of neuropsychology with the joy of laughter, creating a fun-filled, gentle movement experience. After beginning her career in nursing back in 1972, she ventured into various holistic practices, including massage, Reiki, Aromatouch, and Bowen Therapy. Throughout this time, she has witnessed and worked with both the challenges and triumphs of the human experience and she has triumphed over her own adversities, such as overcoming a brain tumour and its residual effects. Today, she dedicates her time to spreading joy through laughter both in her local community and online. Sharon firmly believes that there is no fun in medicine, but there is indeed medicine in fun, following her philosophy that revolves around smiling and laughing often as a pathway to well-being. Deeply passionate about building confidence, nurturing relationships, promoting mindfulness, fostering resilience, and enhancing connections, her goal is to create a more harmonious and interactive world for all, one hearty laugh at a time. Join Sharon on a journey towards a happier, healthier, and more harmonious life. Read more
