These may transpire from a diagnosis of ill-health or a permanent disability, such as brain-related illnesses of stroke, ABI or TBI. She provides resources for her clients that she calls a ‘toolkit’ to assist with the subsequent side effects that often come after a life-changing event such as stress, anxiety and chronic pain. Her toolkit includes natural therapies, Feldenkrais, bush flower remedies, aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Vedic meditation, restorative yoga, Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga and iREST methods. Julie helps her clients weave these into their personal lifestyle management plan. She is passionate about the work that she does and loves being able to help people feel calm, relaxed and realise their potential after adversity. She works with her clients on focusing on their own journey rather than comparing themselves with others and helping them feel and celebrate the positive changes that are happening. Julie took a leap of faith into natural therapies in 1994 while she was still living in the UK. After being diagnosed with Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) and having brain surgery in 1993, she undertook an Ayurveda test which picked up low immunity. She started practising yoga and began to learn more about natural therapies, studying a wide range of modalities. She set her intention to help people just like her who were looking for a little bit of peace and wishing to live a gentle life. Originally working as a flight attendant and later a trainer and facilitator for British Airways, Julie has worked with a broad range of people from all across the globe. She has spent her whole life studying and is a dedicated teacher who expects a high level of continued professional development with all of the yoga teachers who work in her business. Julie lives in the Central Coast in NSW, Australia. The work that she does is customer-based rather than studio-based and she generally undertakes her sessions via home visits. While most of her work is undertaken in-person, she does also do some follow-up consultations online, however as a National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider these are done via telehealth. Julie looks forward to helping you learn to live gently and take home a beautiful bespoke holistic menu. Read more
