How to set up two-way syncing between SoulAdvisor and Yahoo Calendar
Two-way syncing is constantly running in the background so that when a booking is added to one of your calendars (for example, Yahoo) it updates and blocks off the time in your other calendars (for example, your SoulAdvisor calendar).
There are two steps to set this up.
Step 1: Subscribe to Yahoo Calendar in SoulAdvisor Calendar
-
Get your Yahoo Calendar address into iCal format by following these instructions.
-
Add your Yahoo Calendar address to your SoulAdvisor Calendar
a. Login to your SoulAdvisor Calendar
b. Click on the "Calendars" button on the right side > "Subscribe to calendar"
c. Paste the Calendar address and name your calendar, then click on "Subscribe".
Notes: It may take a few minutes to get all of the appointments from Yahoo to appear in the SoulAdvisor Calendar.
Step 2: Subscribe to SoulAdvisor Calendar in Yahoo Calendar
-
Get your SoulAdvisor Calendar address in iCal format by following these instructions.
-
Add your SoulAdvisor Calendar address into your Yahoo Calendar
a. Log into your Yahoo Calendar
b. Click on the "Settings" icon next to "Others" and then "Follow Other Calendars"c. Paste the URL address from SoulAdvisor in the field "Calendar URL" and click on "Save"
Note: You can also name the calendar "SoulAdvisor" and select a colour to find it easily in your Yahoo Calendar. Set the option "Refresh" to "Automatically".
Your SoulAdvisor Calendar is now successfully added to your Yahoo Calendar, and your Yahoo Calendar is added to your SoulAdvisor Calendar.
Important notes:
- Please note that it might take up to 24 hours to sync the future updated events between these calendars.
- To make the syncing faster, we only sync the future bookings/appointments between Yahoo and SoulAdvisor Calendars.
