How to set up two-way syncing between SoulAdvisor and iCloud Calendar
Two-way syncing is constantly running in the background so that when a booking is added to one of your calendars (for example, iCloud), it updates and blocks off the time in your other calendars (for example, your SoulAdvisor calendar).
There are two steps to set this up.
Step 1: Subscribe to iCloud Calendar in SoulAdvisor Calendar
-
Get your iCloud Calendar address into iCal format by following these instructions.
-
Add your iCloud Calendar address into SoulAdvisor Calendar
a. Login into SoulAdvisor Calendar
b. Click on "Calendars" button on the right side > "Subscribe to calendar"c. Paste the calendar URL address and name your calendar, then click on “Subscribe”.
Notes: For the first time, it might take a few minutes to get all the appointments from iCloud Calendar to appear in your SoulAdvisor Calendar.
Step 2: Subscribe to SoulAdvisor Calendar in iCloud Calendar
-
Retrieve your SoulAdvisor Calendar address in iCal format by following these instructions.
-
Add your SoulAdvisor Calendar into iCloud Calendar
a. Open the Calendar app on your Mac
b. Click on "File" and then on "New Calendar Subscription..."c. Paste the URL address from your SoulAdvisor Calendar and then click on "Subscribe"
d. Name the calendar, select "iCloud" from Location, select the auto-refresh time that you want and click on "OK"
Note: For the auto-refresh time, we suggest to select the shortest one.
Now the two-way sync is set up successfully. Your SoulAdvisor Calendar is added to your iCloud Calendar, and your iCloud Calendar is added to your SoulAdvisor Calendar.
Important Notes:
- Please note that it might take up to 24 hours to sync the future updated events between these calendars.
- To make the syncing faster, we only sync the future events between iCloud and SoulAdvisor Calendars
